Inspired by bee hives and the architecture of grain elevators, which are generally located along canals, the Hive light is designed as a twisting series of cylinders. Each rotated layer is made with cardboard that’s carefully cut to maintain the same direction of corrugations that filters the light emanating from the bulb.
