Minimal Concrete Courtyard Home

Throughout Japan, there are amazing homes that feature exposed concrete as its primary structure and finish throughout the house. It’s become popular among people who love minimal design and brutalist architecture. How could we create a concrete home that’s also warm, inviting, and meditative? In this video, we’re designing a 4000 square foot home with a 500 square foot courtyard 3 bedrooms, and 3 bathrooms. It incorporates both nature and natural materials throughout its design which softens and aesthetically warms the space through the colors and tones of the wood.
